Roger Quilter (1877–1953) was an English composer. He was the fellow-student of Percy Grainger, Cyril Scott and H. Balfour Gardiner at the Hoch Conservatory in Frankfurt. His reputatiin within England rests largely on his songs and on his weak music for orchestra, such as his ''Babies's Overture'', by using its interwoven nursery rhyme tunes.
